Which court

File here only if the defendant lives, works or does business in North Las Vegas Township, or did when the incident happened, or the injury or contract performance was there. If you aren't sure of the township, the court points to Clark County's online jurisdiction finder or Clark County Business License at 702-455-4252.

Fees	$66 up to $1,000, $86 from $1,000.01 to $2,500, $106 from $2,500.01 to $5,000, $146 from $5,000.01 to $7,500, and $196 from $7,500.01 to $10,000. (schedule effective March 27, 2024; the court's 2025 schedule file).
Serving papers	A constable ((702) 455-7800), sheriff, private process server, or any adult not in the case can serve. Someone other than those officers can't be paid and can serve only three times a calendar year. The court's August 2025 packet says serve at least 15 days before the court date and file the Affidavit of Service at least 10 days before, but its web page still says proof is due 30 days before. Serving early meets both.

Before filing, send a separate certified demand letter to each defendant, return receipt requested, giving 10 business days.
Wait at least 15 days after mailing, unless the letter comes back refused or unclaimed.
The court date is tentative. Call at least one day before to confirm the date and time.

Bring at least three copies of your evidence, and print out texts and emails.
