Indianapolis has no single small claims court: Marion County has nine, one per township, and you must pick the right one. Generally file in the township where the deal or incident happened, where the obligation was incurred or due, or where a defendant lives or works when you file; landlord-tenant cases go to the township where the property is. The city's finder is at maps.indy.gov/SmallClaimsCourt.
